Porro transports&liftings has been chosen for the trasnport and complete installation of a 5000 tons press.
Despite the job complexity, the customer did not have to worry about anything.
In fact thanks to the expertise of Porro employees and to its fleet, it was possible to manage the entire project with own means : the 15 transports, of which 4 exceptional, the installation with a 300 tons crane, the permits requests and the escort to the exceptional convoys.
Not only has Porro the required means, but it also has the best means available on the market for this specific jobs. In fact, with a 300 tons Idrogru crane, the most powerfull on the market, it was possible to assembly the press with just one crane, although some components weight was over 70 tons.
The technical studies carried out were also noteworthy. They were needed to prove the stability of some bridges since the weight of two convoys were over 100 tons,
